reflections from a bar...

talking talking everywhere
but not a thought too deep
and when you think poetically
you take another drink
but when the poem goes on too long
and you fail to find your friends
perhaps you'll try another means
to reach whatever ends...
...or you get stuck with the tab.

New Wireless Keyboard!

Well.... I purchased a new Apple Wireless keyboard. The action on the keys is very good and it's very easy to carry around. So far I've been able to pair it quite successfully with my laptop, a Dell, which seems to work excellently.

I've also been successfully pairing it with my Blackjack II Windows smart phone. It works well but there are a couple caveats. First of all some of the keyboard mapping is off, i can't seem to get certian characters like the exclaimation point or star for example.... The X key seems to be caps no matter what I do and there doesnÞt seem to be a key that will map to function, the function button on the cell phone.

However, as right now, even with these inconvieniences blogging, lettet writing and note taking is still way way easier on the wireless, then on the BlackJacks built in board.

I'll post more if I figure out how to fiX some of the issues I am having.

For a limited time only, apply for your very own.

Office 2007

I have run the Mocrosoft diagnostic tool no less then five times now... and every single time, it returns NO ERRORS. What good is a diagnostic toolkit that does not diagnose???

Thought for the night....

The rate at which a person can mature is directly proportional to the embarrassment he can tolerate.
-- Douglas Engelbart, Inventor of the Mouse

A real labor saving device...

The new phones are very cool. They are the first portable internet tool I've ever owned, instead of just a flashy ineffective toy.

Medicinal Woes?

I can't sleep tonight, for whatever reason. I hope it's not the meds... I often wish I had a normal brain, it would be nice not to constantly think about fifty things all at once...

Psudeo-ADD and ADD

Facinating topic. One of the biggest problems an adult dealing with ADD runs into is a large majority of people living in an impatient and demanding society that forces many people into the patterns of ADD.
That and the large number of people who believe that what they see on the news, read a blurb or two about on the web or what they happen to pick up in casual converstion is "the result of modern reasearch and study."
The pain of ADD comes not in the condition itself, but in the relationship of those around them.
Sorry for the mellow-drama but there seems to be a rash of late of people teasingly accusing each other because they forget the name of a movie actor or trail off in midsentence... Having a sense of humor about the way one's mind works is one thing... being a joke is something else entirely...

A better video...

Here's a better video with more action.

Interesting...

It seems as though I might have been hasty in stating the my posts did not go through. The videos look like they sent but seem to lag behind... let's try a photo or two...

A second attempt...

Well, my idea of testing before trying to post seems to have paid off since the first has failed.... so I am trying again...

Mobile post...

Before I post anything serious, I want to test the lines of communication between my device and the world. What could be worse then typing for an hour and having transmission fail.
